The world is a grim place at the moment but I actually had a rather fun week.

In reverse order! Yesterday we went to see another play at the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs at the Royal Court. This time it was The Village Bike by Penelope Skinner starring Romola Garai.

Can I have a new pair of eyes please? I think mine have lost the ability to focus. It's a long time since I've read a book that long in one day but for someone who wasn't that bothered about spoilers I was amazingly good and didn't even carelessly flick to the last chapter halfway through.
